What Does the Right Choice Box Machine Do?
The Right Choice Box Machine converts corrugated fanfold or sheet material into made-to-measure box blanks based on the selected box design, product, or order requirement. The system performs the required cutting and creasing so operators can fold, pack, and close the completed carton.
Unlike a conventional case erector, which forms a pre-made corrugated blank, the Right Choice Box Machine creates the box blank on demand. This makes it especially relevant for operations with changing product dimensions, mixed SKU profiles, or large inventories of standard carton sizes.
Why Produce Boxes on Demand?
Reduce Oversized Carton Use
Create boxes closer to the dimensions required for the product instead of defaulting to the nearest oversized stock carton.
Reduce Unnecessary Void Fill
Better-fitting cartons may reduce the amount of paper, air pillows, foam, or other fill required to limit product movement.
Simplify Box Inventory
Reduce dependence on maintaining a large number of pre-made carton sizes for changing products and order profiles.
Use Warehouse Space More Efficiently
Fanfold corrugated material may require less storage complexity than an extensive inventory of assembled or flat stock boxes.
From Box Design to Finished Carton
- 01
Select or Trigger the Box Design
Choose a preloaded style, create a custom design, or trigger the correct job through an approved production workflow.
- 02
Feed the Corrugated Material
Use fanfold corrugated or an optional sheet-feeding configuration based on production volume, available space, and material strategy.
- 03
Cut and Crease the Blank
The machine positions the material and completes the required longitudinal and transverse cutting and creasing operations.
- 04
Fold, Pack, and Close
Remove the completed blank, fold the carton, load the product, and move the box into sealing, labeling, or downstream handling.

Right Choice Box Machine FAQs
Is the Right Choice Box Machine manufactured by Edda?
Yes. Right Choice is ATP's private-label box-on-demand solution, and the machine is manufactured by Edda.
What is the difference between the Right Choice Box Machine and a case erector?
A case erector forms a pre-made corrugated blank into an open case. The Right Choice Box Machine cuts and creases corrugated material to create a made-to-measure box blank on demand.
Can the machine use fanfold and sheet corrugated?
Yes. The system can support fanfold material or an optional sheet-feeding configuration. The appropriate setup depends on available space, volume, product mix, and corrugated strategy.
How quickly can the machine produce a custom box?
The machine can produce many custom boxes in approximately 10 to 15 seconds, depending on the box design, corrugated material, configuration, and operating workflow.
What information does ATP need to evaluate the application?
Helpful information includes product dimensions, current carton inventory, order or SKU mix, daily volume, corrugated requirements, void-fill use, available space, current packing steps, and photographs or video of the operation.
